Glass Krobo Bead Bracelet

A stunning strand of powder glass African beads, handcrafted by the Krobo people of Ghana. Inspired by traditional Venetian trade beads, these beads are made from recycled glass bottles and other glass items that are ground into powder and poured into molds to form their distinctive elbow shape. Each design is decorated by hand using a paste of colored glass powder, applied with a thin wooden stalk, then fired a second time to set the intricate patterns. Every bead is unique, and no two strands are exactly alike.
