Gauntlet IV - Sega Genesis

Gauntlet IV is an action-adventure game for the Sega Genesis from Tengen. This Genesis entry brings the arcade-style dungeon crawl into Quest mode with support for the Sega 4-player adaptor.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Top-down maze action focuses on clearing labyrinths, collecting treasure, managing health, and surviving enemy-filled rooms.
• Quest mode features more than 90 levels of labyrinths and mazes.
• Four-player cooperative play is supported through the Multi-Player Team Player Adaptor and 4 Way Play setup.
• Hazards include locked doors, risky treasure routes, Grunts, and fire-breathing dragon encounters.
• The game continues the Gauntlet dungeon-crawling formula with multiple heroes working through maze-based adventure stages.

Its 4-player adaptor support makes Gauntlet IV a notable Sega Genesis release for the series’ cooperative arcade-style gameplay. The Quest mode structure gives this version a longer progression format beyond single-stage maze survival.
