Burning Force - Sega Genesis

Burning Force is a Sega Genesis action shooting game from Namco built around high-speed airbike and spacefighter combat. The game moves from Earth-based training tests to deep space combat, using 3-D-like environments and fast maneuvering as its core hook.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Arcade-style shoot ’em up gameplay focuses on dodging enemies, lining up shots, and managing movement through forward-scrolling stages.
• The story follows training at Earth University with Hiromi, aiming toward the title of “Space Fighter.”
• Stages include earth terrain, alien civilization ruins, hostile robots, and a sixth-day final exam set in deep space.
• Weapons include missiles and lasers, with upgrades, replenished armaments, hidden weapons, and invincibility shielding available during play.
• Defeating boss enemies can lead into bonus areas, adding extra stage rewards beyond standard combat sections.

The shift from airbike tests to spacefighter battles gives Burning Force a clear progression from training course to final exam. Its “Space Fighter” premise ties the shooting action directly to a named in-game rank and goal.
